Speyside Cooperage Visitor Centre, Dufftown

centre offers the visitor the chance to savour the sights, sounds
and smells of the busy workshops and have a go at building our
'demonstration' cask. You can watch our skilled coopers and apprentices
at work. The visitor centre is equipped to cater for wheelchair

Balvenie

121. Balvenie is a castle of enclosure, with a massive 13th century
curtain wall, built in a strategically significant position in
the Glen. It was first owned by the powerful Comyn Earls of
Buchan, then added to in the 15th and 16th centuries. The property
is managed by Historic Scotland. About 5 miles east of Aberlour. |
