scenery. The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal runs close by the
town. Abergavenny offers a range of activities with walking,
mountain biking, hang gliding and paragliding, all popular. Abergavenny
is convenient for visitors to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
The town has a range of restaurants, as well as the opportunity
of the Abergavenny Food Festival, (described as the ‘Glastonbury
of Food Festivals’) and a selection of specialist shops.
Abergavenny is served by fast and frequent train services on
the Cardiff to Manchester line. Abergavenny is approx 12 miles
west of Monmouth & 16 miles east
